Every year we support #GoTeamKent at the
The British Transplant Games
organised on behalf of Transplant Sport
We can only achieve this with our sponsors and the support of family and friends. You can also donate via the JustGiving page.
The aim of the games is to raise awareness of the need for organ donation, encourage transplant recipients to lead active lifestyles and show appreciation for, and remember, donors and their families.
Sports include:
Badminton. Bowling. Cycling. Darts. Donor Run. Golf. Petanque. Snooker. Squash. Swimming. Track & Field.
Table Tennis. Tennis. 3 on 3 Basketball. Volleyball.
If you're interested in finding out more about The Games, or if you'd like to join #GoTeamKent, or come along as a supporter we'd love to hear from you.

British Transplant Games 2026
Kent Kidney Patients Association and the Alan Squirrell Trust are proud to have sponsored #GoTeamKent at this year's British Transplant Games, held in Sheffield from 6 - 9th August.
Andy Chapman bought home 3 silver medals in cycling and running competitions and one of our newest team members Keith Gallagher won a Bronze medal in swimming.
We also had another new competitor this year Guy, who competed in snooker and Petanque.
A great time was had by all competitors and supporters. #GoTeamKent.

European Transplant Games 2026
The European Transplant Games were held in June of this year, 2026, hosted by the city of Arnhem in the Netherlands.
24 countries were represented, including a GB team of about 100 participants, donors, donor families and supporters from across the country.
The games are a great opportunity for individuals who have experienced dialysis, transplant and organ/stem cell donation to come together to engage in a range of sporting competitions and freely engage in storytelling of their personal experiences.
