Help & Advice
Many of the KKPA volunteers are kidney patients themselves and working with the NHS renal units at Ashford, Canterbury, Dover, Maidstone, Margate & Medway Hospitals; we provide financial support, specialist advice, guidance and access to further information and resources for kidney patients & their families in Kent.
Support
Our support groups take place bi-monthly at locations across East & West Kent and can also be joined remotely using Zoom.
If you’d like to join us or to find out more information, please get in touch with the
British Transplant Games
Every year we support #TeamKent at
organised on behalf of Transplant Sport.
Their aim is to raise awareness of the need
for organ donation, encourage transplant recipients to lead active lifestyles and show appreciation for, and remember, donors and
their families.
If you're interested in finding out more about The Games, or if you'd like to join Team Kent, it would be great to hear from you.
Holiday Caravans
We own & manage 2 holiday caravans at Coombe Haven in Hastings. Both caravans
are fully equipped with everything needed
for a week or weekend break by the sea and
are free-of-charge, for kidney patients and
their families*

For more information or to book, please get in touch with our Charity Secretary using our contact details below

* The caravans are free for kidney patients and their families to use but we do ask those that are able to make a contribution of £40 towards cleaning costs.
Dietary Advice
Renal dietitians specialise in assessing nutritional requirements for those people with kidney problems, taking into account their complex needs.
Renal dietitians enable people with kidney disease to optimise their nutritional status and quality of life while managing the complications associated with kidney disease.
